BlueCielo Kronodoc 2012 Administrator's Guide | BlueCielo ECM Solutions |
AutoCAD drawings often contain title blocks that use attributes for the text. Such title blocks can be updated by the Kronodoc Advanced File Management add-on. The title block text can be updated from Kronodoc document or workspace properties.
Different drawing types can have different title blocks and attributes. For Kronodoc to identify the drawing type, you need to assign the correct Kronodoc document type and set correct values in other document properties. When you retrieve a drawing from Kronodoc, the document property values are read and depending on the document type, the properties are transferred from the Kronodoc document to the AutoCAD title block attributes.
Note Only one title block per drawing is supported.
Properties are transferred only in one direction, from Kronodoc to AutoCAD. If you update the title block attributes manually, they will not update the corresponding Kronodoc properties. Always update the title block text by editing the Kronodoc properties.
Properties are transferred only when you open drawings with the subget or subcheckout commands as described in Viewing files with external references and Checking out external reference files respectively. Property transfer also requires that Kronodoc be properly configured with the title block and attribute names. For more information about configuring Kronodoc to update AutoCAD title blocks, consult a system administrator.
